Sujata Butte is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Idaho. She started her Ph.D. studies in 2019. Her research focuses on using AI to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of medical diagnostics, helping doctors make better decisions and ultimately improving patient care. She started her career as a senior data scientist at Infosys in September 2023. She had the opportunity to work as a Data Science Intern at Micron Technology during the summers of 2019 and 2020. These experiences gave her a broad perspective on how data can drive innovation and solve complex problems in different fields. Through her work, she developed a strong foundation in using AI and data-driven approaches to address real-world challenges. Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Sujata enjoys traveling to new places, experiencing different cultures, and spending quality time with her family. She believes that maintaining a balance between work and personal life is essential for creativity and personal growth.
