Shoukun Sun is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Idaho. His research focuses on large-content generation, instance segmentation, interactive segmentation, and diffusion models. He is committed to advancing computer science by developing innovative deep-learning techniques and applications, particularly for critical applications with sparse labeling. He is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Graduate Students and the 2024 MIDA Star Award.
